My work is inspired by the significant of salmon as a keystone species in the Pacific Northwest. Although a bit cliché, pacific salmon are intricately connected within our ecosystems being affected by climate change. The decline of these organisms provide tangible evidence of the alteration occurring at many scales as the result of climate change and anthropogenic impacts.
The exhibit opens at the Lightcather on July 5 (free from 6-10 on Art Walk night) and continues through September 14th.
