Red String of Fate

Red String of Fate, 20"x 20" acrylic on canvas

The Red String of Fate originates from a Chinese myth. According to this myth, the gods tie an invisible red cord around the ankles of those that are destined to meet one another in a certain situation or help each other in a certain way. Ravens are very social birds and tightly bound to their mate. In this piece I painted a lone raven with a broken string. I will let you generate the story from here.
