I spent a couple weeks of the holiday season down in Arizona soaking up some sun. I am always inspired by the change of landscape with its wide open horizons. Although it is warmer down there, it is still winter and critters are a bit quiet. I felt like painting an Arizona native, but wanted yearned for the active spring season. I decided a butterfly might do just the trick. Here is an Arizona Sister. I hope it makes you think of the warmer days ahead.
