Snow Thief, 12"x 12" acrylic on canvas
New piece just off the easel. This piece will be one of the collection I am working on for the upcoming Corvid Show in August! Many of you probably recognize this lesser known member of the Corvid family from picnics in the Mountains. These plucky Gray Jays or often referred to as Camp Robbers due to their cleaver mooching skills. These small plucky jays live at higher elevations and are a species that may be at risk due to changes in snowfall patterns associated with our changing climate.
