Come visit me at opening night for a new show at Allied Arts on October Art Walk Night (Oct 5th) 7-9 pm.
I have a nice selection of new work I am excited about up at this juried event.
Here is a bit about the show:
Allied Arts of Whatcom County’s Juried Artist Series continues with The Long & Short of it featuring work from Cathy Taggett, Monica O’Keefe, Sharon Kingston and Vikki Jackson. There will be an Exhibit Walk Thru with the artists starting at 7pm on opening night. The Long & Short of it is an exhibit depicting the dynamic subject matter of animals, nature and each artists’ unique perspective on the world. In addition to these artists, Allied Arts Inside the Box Series will feature work from Dale Ballantyne. She has been creating small editions of handmade “art books” using her own images, photos and drawings. In early November, this show will travel to the Hotel Bellwether for a month long installation in their lobby, hallways, and Lighthouse Bar & Grill.
