Phonebook Featured Art

I am honored to be commissioned to provide the art work for our desert community phone book. They featured "The Gaze" on the cover of the 2025 phone book. So fun!

Vermillion Summer

The desert spring has brought waves of Migrating birds to my desert home. Vermillion Flycatchers winter here in low numbers,  but recently they have become more common.  The red on these birds is indescribably intense. This piece is 12"x12" Acrylic and metal leaf on a wood panel. It is available at the Sonoran Desert Inn Gift Shop in Ajo, AZ.

New Gallery Representation

I am honored to to be included as an artist represented by Art Under the Arches in Ajo, AZ. This fine gallery specializes in art from the Ajo area. That may sound like it might restrict its breath and quality,  but quite the opposite.  This gallery demonstrates that Ajo has world quality artists and it is displayed beautifully.  The gallery also has a gift shop with curated small works, ceramics, gift cards, and other interesting gift items. Additionally,  the gallery manages a space for monthly, themed art shows.

I look forward to a long relationship with this fine gallery.

Bobcat Visitor

We have had some beautiful encounters with a Bobcat in our yard recently.  It has discovered our bird feeder, which I refer as a Trophic Feeder, as it ends up feeding critters of all sorts. This piece is inspired by these close encounters. Acrylic and metal leaf on wood panel.  11"x14 ".
