I just spent a few blissful days in southern Arizona soaking up autumn sun and chasing birds. We have a little Casita in Ajo AZ. It is tucked into some of the most beautiful Sonoran Desert around. It is a wondeful place where we are able to bird, chase lizards and I can totally relax and enjoy painting.
I love the sassy cactus wren, which is iconic in this succulent filled environment. I could not resist painting an image as I waited out the hot midday temps which still were in the 90's during this late October visit.
